Help with a reading! I can't be objective!

I am having a hard time being objective, as this reading is of a personal nature....My partner and I had planned to purchase a yurt (Mongolian nomadic dwelling) and put it up on some land owned by his uncle. Everything had been going so smoothly with our plans: the family had put up no resistance, and was supportive of our ideas to do permaculture and camp at the site this year (with the expectation to eventually move there, once systems were in place for water, food and waste management)Last…See More

Bio
I have worked with the runes for 10 years now, and feel my understanding of their mysteries and my interaction with them deepening more and more. I seek to expand my awareness to new aspects of the runes' secrets, and am passionate about learning to use them more effectively. This is why I am here, to share with others, and learn from their experiences and exchange information and perspectives.
When did you begin using the runes?
2003
What rune(s) are you most concerned with?
I am very close with Berkana, I find that whenever I need help, it is there with Berkana. Birch is also a close plant Spirit ally, so it makes sense that the rune so closely tied to it is so appealing to me.
Who are your favorite authors on the runes?
I have read Thorsson, Galina Krasskova, and Tyriel; I also appreciate sunnyway.com/runes

Isa: Ice (Old Norse)

It is winter here, and the lesson I am focused on right now is Isa.  Isa's energy is quiet and pensive.  It represents a time to be still, focusing inward, and patiently awaiting the right time to act.  Patience is hard for me.  Really hard.  But I know that good things come to me when I wait patiently for the right timing to present itself.  I am planning a garden this year, and Isa is teaching me much as I begin this process.  Patience as I wait for the right…

Thanks for the Blog like! Encouragement is very much appreciated. Love your tattoo! I've been thinking about how I want my next tattoo, on my wrists, to be rune related. What's the story behind yours?

Welcome and hope you have fun!

Lessons of Hagalaz: Rune of Disaster and Healing

In the face of disaster, compassionate human beings discover that they do not break, but become stronger. We discover that our communities come together, even on a global scale, in face of unimaginable destruction. When the universe shows its inimical side, the side that couldn't care less about average human affairs, it's as if we come together to show overwhelmingly that we care for one another. When the universe demonstrates that it cannot be depended upon, that it is more than able to wreck havoc, we react by showing that we can depend upon one another.
