Contemplating a Doyle family motto (Bhi Me, Beicht Me - Gaelic for 'I Was, I Will Be') and wanting to add Ta Me or 'I Am', I had to also think about which runes most resonated with the three phrases.
So I think ....
I was .... Inguz
I will Be ...... Dagaz
I am ...... Laguz
What does anyone else think?

Once upon a time, I made a little personal rune placing the top 'triangle' of Othala to join with the cross of Mannaz. My early readings on runes were limited to base definitions and to me it represented my love of humanity, and moreover my family. I expressed its meaning as "kindness for all and love for all" and I put a little bit of Wunjo inside the 'house' the image made.
