Hello, all! Some may remember me...

This email may be barging in on a conversation, and thanks for your patience if it is.

Anyway,  got creative tonight and finished up this recent project that I want to share here: http://linguexperience.org/cyberwyrds/.

Hopefully it will spark some conversation for me to see who is here that I remember from years ago, and who now must be new...!

Cheers,

Francis

The whole idea you spoke of, with the left vs. right hand path of Tiwaz, is very interesting to me. I have never thought about Tiwaz/Tyr's amputation like that, though have for Odin (rune Ansuz?). He sacrificed one eye in order (this is how I personally put it) -- sacrificed one eye in order that he could see better out the other. Was it his right eye that was sacrificed? And I associate the Left with the magical, that is, the magic that Odin (Ansuz?) learned from the Vanir. Taiwan/Tyr had been at the top of the deity's pyramid.  And then the Germanic equivalent of Mercury/Hermes -- Odin -- travels in his mercurial ways among the opposing pantheon of gods (the Vanir), learns what they can do, and returns to his home pantheon (the Aesir) with his new power... which is very convenient, lol, because at that time Tyr (or Tiwaz, both of which are cognate to the name of the Hellenic head-of-pantheon Zeus) lost his fighting arm and so stepped down from the head position with Hermes (Odin) taking his place. So the Germanic pantheon went from Tiwaz (Greek Zeus) at the top, to Odin (Greek Hermes) at the top.

Both of them lost body parts in this process. Why? What's that about?

I guess mostly why I think magic is associated with the Left is because of how magic (since Christianity? I dunno!) has become thought of as "sinister" (Latin for "left"). The same word, via Proto-Indo-European and Proto-Germanic, came through into German as "Finsternis" ("darkness," but differing from the regular word for darkness, which is "Dunkelheit", because "Finsternis" also has a sort of evil feel to it -- not just any darkness but an evil darkness, a Lord of the Rings kind of symbolism, like Mt Doom spewing fumes to darken the skies/hopeless.

WHOA! LOL! I almost just ended this message with the word "hopeless". Now, that won't do. Let's get out of the darkness, lol!

Joy was very ill and

her last yeas were a slow personal hell.  she died in my arm. though she was not pronounced dead until hours later. She told me sh was dieing and that she was not afraid. My government is evil as it puts a market value on life.

Her passing has shown me the commercialisation of death. And the dualism of necrophilia; its miracle of love and its blasphemy by the orthodoxy of social control.

When any living thing dies it is an explosion of life. Billions of microbes are born into the world'but that is just a start at every point of decay the life that emerges out is more complex. Humanity is just now learning about the complex body of bacteria and fungi that make up the human form. Biology many even be found to extend all the way into the world of quantum reality.   "and the evening and the morning were the first day"  Death is the birth of life.

I am so glad she was not afraid, and it is inspiring to hear that. I will remember it!

the sinister yes I seen in the rune not  simply justice, but also what is justice frome were in the psych dose the idea come how is it discovered out of ignorance/innocence. To judge with integrity one must find cause. To empathize is to put your self in the personage of the other. Loki is a devil and yet he holds the most important job in creation.  His nature is disruptive. Wear there is no/know knowledge evil dose not exist. The wolf is not evil killing is not his will it is his instinct. He dose not rationalize his actions. His beliefs are not built out of abstract illusions of the imagination. Evil by definition is mindful.  And only a mind steeped in experience of it can ever hope to truly discern the difference between a natural/instinctual action and one created out of will/self-interest.

note to reader by / this I mean both words serve to point to a bigger truth.

Eating from the Tree of Knowledge, then, does not cause evil (and of course it doesn't, lol), but it means actions can now be Good vs. Evil. And yet this duality itself can make for evil things, because it is an Us vs. Them mentality. See the oneness - the True Goodness - behind the dichotomy, and live in the knowledge of that higher, broader knowledge, and then get back in touch with one's instinctual self, but this time with cognizance, as an enlightened animal, an animal of enlightenment.

The Laguz is getting deep, but the flow is inviting. Evile is often no more then perspective.  For the rabbit the wolf is evil incarnate, but to the wolf the rabbit is life and that more abundantly,  But if the wolfe where borne again the rabbit in its ignorance of the consequences of its new found life would eat itself into a world of scarcity, Much like the one we are manifesting now. Thus not only must the animal be restrained from its predatory nature, the pray must obtain an open and maturing mind.  As we traveled up into the north fallowing herds of aurk we likely eat the mushroom from their shit and as we went north they went from an abundance in the warm south to a seasonal treat in the cooler north. thus giving the mind longer and longer period to digest the ideas the mushrooms expressed. and finally one day the Soma/manna was gone and we were left to build our world

it is interesting that we tend to see the Viking ant thus the Norse only in terms of the sea or of war. But what about the cowboy..      it is in our sub-culture. Odin driving the souls of the dead into the underworld as expressed in the song "Ghost Riders In The Sky"
